Introduction to parish

St Saviour's Parish Church is in South West London, built when the area's first major housing projects were being laid out at the beginning of the 20th century. It is of the central Anglican tradition, with regular worship at its heart; but it continues to use its presence to nurture the wider local community and to foster linkage between the Church and daily life. As well as family celebrations and special events, some 20-30 local groups and organisations use the halls regularly for widely ranging activities for all ages. The church building is also used for concerts and for Diocesan Training events. In 2018 our Lady Chapel was home to a two-week Exhibition on the lives of the 97 men who are recorded on the Raynes Park War Memorial.
