We should not be embarrassed to formally ask church members to give generously or to remind them of the need to review their gifts to the church. We should never assume that people will respond without prompting: we have to ask. A key part of Giving is God’s Way is the preparation and distribution of a stewardship pack to your church family containing brochures, letters and response forms.
