Details of the Church

The present building was constructed to replace a Victorian Gothic church building, on approximately the same site, which was demolished as part of the redevelopment of the surrounding estate. The building, comprises a modest single storey arrangement of rooms. with a worship area under a low pitched roof, surrounded on three sides by ancillary rooms under a flat roof which include three other assembly areas, in the form of a front room, a side hall and a rear hall, amply served by lobbies, a crèche, offices, a kitchen, toilets and stores. The building has four access/exit points – the main entrance on the south side, a side entrance on the east side and escape doors from the hall and church on the west side.
