Our Diocese offers a variety of roles that support our mission and ministry. Some positions are unique to the Church, such as ordained ministry and lay leadership roles, whilst others require a range of skills to help ensure that the Diocese, our parishes and partner organisations run smoothly. We hope that this website gives you an understanding of the work of the Diocese, our vision and the values that we uphold

Ordained ministry and lay leadership

We are always seeking clergy and lay people who are prayerful, faithful, generous, and willing to take risks as we share and proclaim the love of Christ to all.

In the Diocese of Southwark, Christians of diverse backgrounds and theological convictions speak well of each other and are committed to our common life and task as expressed in the Southwark Vision. This mutual trust allows us to invest in parochial ministry and to respond creatively and innovatively to changing communities and new developments.

If you think God is calling you to serve in this place, do explore our current vacancies prayerfully and see if you share our Southwark Vision.
