Audit of Diocesan safeguarding arrangements
In October 2016 The Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding arrangements were independently audited, as part of the National Church’s quality assurance programme, by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE). The final report was sent to the Diocese in January 2017.

IICSA report on the Church of England
IICSA is a statutory inquiry set up because of serious concerns that some organisations had failed and were continuing to fail to protect children from sexual abuse. The Anglican Church in England and Wales was one of 15 investigations being looked at by the inquiry. The overarching report was published on 6 October 2020.
