This tool is accessible via Parish Returns, and the deadline to submit your data is 31 July 2024.
Why is this important?
- Completing the EFT will allow the Diocese to keep track of our overall carbon emissions which in turn will help the Diocesan team to know what level of support and guidance you might need to reduce your carbon footprint. Additionally, the National Church Team will look at the EFT to target further financial support to churches in the following years.
- The EFT may help you to be in a better position to access future funding opportunities and be more prepared for what might happen over the next decade.
What information is needed?
- The key information to enter into the EFT is your energy purchased (kWh) and costs (£) from 2023 for each building in your church. Please have your electricity and gas/oil bills from 2023 on hand.
- If you cannot find all the necessary information, you can save your progress and return to complete the EFT later.
