This National Children’s Day (18 May), we celebrate each of us being made different and yet equal.

Children from All Saints CofE Primary School, Croydon, recently came together to celebrate their learning under the Equal Eagles programme.

As part of implementing our Diocesan Anti-Racism Charter, Equal Eagles is a six-week course for Key Stage 2 pupils on equality and respect delivered by the Palace for Life Foundation – the official charity for Crystal Palace FC. Supported by our diocese and the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education,
it aims to help young south Londoners grow through sport.

Plans are in place to reach more schools across our diocese over the coming years.
