We’re looking for a Vicar to join the St John’s Church Family at Felbridge, someone who feels called by God to further develop the life, ministry and mission of this conservative evangelical parish church whose motto is ‘to gather, grow and go’ as followers of Jesus Christ. The Church is situated at the southern edge of the Diocese of Southwark, adjacent to the town of East Grinstead.
We are looking for a Vicar who:
- is a Christ-like pastor good at communicating with people of all ages
- is an acknowledged preacher and teacher gifted in applying scripture to life in the 21st century
- has a heart for evangelism and seeks to help others come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
- desires to further the growth and development of church members in the mission of the church locally and globally
- is a Spirit-led servant leader who enjoys working with and mentoring other staff and church members
- who loves and trusts Jesus Christ and is a prayerful, humble, visionary, and faithful minister of the gospel
