Introducing a new tool designed to support, coordinate and sustain Latino ministry across the Church of England: the Anglican Hispanic Mission website
This fully bilingual (English–Spanish) platform brings together practical resources to help any parish start and develop Latino ministry locally. Whether you are a Vicar, a PCC member, or a Latino leader, the site offers clear formation pathways, liturgical resources, training videos, and the option to book advice or mentoring with the Mission team.
Father Hugo Adán, Rector of St Matthew’s Church Southwark, founded the Hispanic Mission and writes:
“I warmly invite you to take a few minutes to explore the website and navigate through its sections. We are actively working on the translation, editing, and design of further materials, which will be uploaded progressively to the Resources section as they become ready.
Importantly, this is not a centrally run ministry. Parishes retain full ownership and leadership; our role is simply to support, resource and accompany where requested. The missional responsibility remains with the PCC and the Vicar.
This is a significant national step for Latino ministry, and I am delighted to share it with the Diocese of Southwark as a first preview.”
