Children’s Pastor – All Saints Peckham

ALL SAINTS PECKHAM IS LOOKING FOR A CONTAGIOUSLY PASSIONATE FOLLOWER OF JESUS TO LEAD OUR MINISTRY AMONG CHILDREN. AS WELL AS BEING DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN DISCIPLING OUR CHILDREN  (0 – 11), THE GIFTED PERSON WE’RE SEEKING WILL HEAD UP, EQUIP AND ENCOURAGE A VOLUNTEER CHILDREN’S TEAM TO HELP IN THIS KEY AREA OF OUR CHURCH.

We believe God’s Word and Holy Spirit can transform individuals and communities. We are all about Jesus, our tagline is JESUS: WHENEVER, WHEREVER, HOWEVER. And one of our three ‘vision’ goals for 2025 has been ‘to equip passionate young disciples.’

We are seeing Jesus encounter our children and want to see even more! This is an exciting opportunity to lead a large church-based children’s work, whilst also thinking outside the box, pioneering new ways of reaching the unchurched children of Peckham – that’s the however!

The post-holder will have personal experience of the transforming presence of God in their lives, and will be passionate about enabling a younger generation, from both within and outside of our current church family, to grow in their faith and experience of Jesus.

The full time post comes with a salary of £28,250, 30 days annual leave and a generous pension scheme. The closing date for applications is Monday 18th August and we’re hoping the successful candidate will start in the autumn term.
