Journey through the Wilderness – A Meditation for Lent

‘Journey through the Wilderness’ is a meditation for Lent exploring the theme of wilderness.  Music is performed by the Lay Clerks of Southwark Cathedral and the readings are read in front of the Wilderness Panels in St Hugh’s Church, Bermondsey. The artist, Adam Boulter, explains the panels in a separate video which can be found here https://youtu.be/0iSUfGVAax0. The homily is given by Canon Andrew Zihni, Precentor. It will be available from 8am tomorrow, Ash Wednesday.

Vaccination Drive

You may have heard Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme this morning. He was encouraging people to take advantage of the COVID-19 Vaccination and was encouraged that more people from the UKME community were taking it than a few weeks ago. He cited community leaders and faith groups in getting the message out there.  There is still some way to go. Thank you to everyone who shared the video from Bishop Karowei and Archdeacon Rosemarie. We have included it here once again in the hope that you will continue sharing.
