An announcement from The Bishop of Southwark, The Rt Revd Christopher Chessun:
I am pleased to announce that the Revd Jonathan Sedgwick, Rector of S George the Martyr, Southwark, has agreed to serve as the Acting Archdeacon of Southwark while remaining Rector of the parish. In due course, I hope to appoint a new Archdeacon and I am glad that the archdeaconry will be in such good hands until that time. Jonathan will be working closely with the Archdeacon of Lewisham and Greenwich – and of course also with the Bishop of Woolwich – and will be assisted by Mr Richard Coe who continues as the Archdeacons’ PA.
