Each one of us is called by God to be a disciple and a worker in the vineyard. For some this calling is to exercise a form of recognised ministry in the Church, whether lay or ordained. A vocations forum is an opportunity to reflect, pray and discuss with others what type of ministry God might be calling you into. The focus is on commissioned and licensed lay ministries and on ordained ministry as a Permanent Deacon or as a Priest.
Attending a vocations forum is a prerequisite to entering the discernment process for many ordained and lay ministries. We are committed to encouraging vocations in people who represent the full diversity of our Diocese and so everyone is welcome.
There are vocations forums throughout 2022/23.
You need your incumbent or chaplain to sponsor you to attend. Please ask them to book your place through Sue Stewart, Vocations Team Administrator.
