Rising Generation Pastor | Christ Church Peckham

We are seeking a Rising Generations Pastor to lead and grow ministry among children, young people and their families; helping the next generation know, love and follow Jesus. At Christ Church Peckham, we believe the next generation are a vital part of the church today. This role provides vision and pastoral leadership across Children’s and Youth ministries (ages 0–18), creating safe, joyful spaces where children and young people can encounter God, grow in community and become confident disciples who live out our values of Heart, Humility, and Honour.

Much of this ministry is a fresh canvas. We are looking for someone who brings creativity, initiative, and a heart for discipleship and who is excited to develop ministries that are contextually relevant, relational and sustainable. You will work closely with families, volunteers and the wider church, building healthy teams and rhythms that help children and young people flourish.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing Children’s and Youth ministry across Sundays, midweek groups and events
• Creating safe, inclusive environments where children, young people and families feel known, valued and supported
• Growing youth ministry through intentional discipleship, outreach and initiatives such as youth nights and Youth Alpha
• Developing Children’s ministry through Sunday provision, midweek activities and holiday clubs
• Recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers and emerging leaders
• Building strong relationships with parents, carers, local schools, and community partners
• Working with the Operations Manager, Pastoral Lead, and Safeguarding Team to strengthen structures, safeguarding and key processes
