Ignatian spirituality has been described as a spirituality of ‘finding God in all things’, and discerning God’s will for better decision making. But how do we disentangle our own conflicting desires from the higher good that God desires for us? The Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola have led generations of faithful Christians to a deeper discernment of God’s will.

In this session, the Revd Dr Steffan Mathias, Vicar of St Peter’s, Streatham introduces us to the basics of Ignatian spirituality and shows how to use practices like Imaginative prayer, and the Examen to deepen our prayer lives.
