Cave, Refectory, Road explores how traditional monastic life is helping to shape new Christian communities such as fresh expressions today. Using wisdom from the work of pioneer practitioner Ian Adams we’ll explore how this ancient wisdom, learning and spiritual practice might be reinterpreted for new settings.

This second of 2 evenings will look at the third space that helps us to do this: the road: how the example of the friars can lead to creative and loving engagement with public life. We will then explore how monastic rhythms for life can bring freedom and creativity to our lives through a new understanding of time.
