The Archdeacon of Reigate has great pleasure in inviting you, if you are continuing as Churchwarden or are new to the role, to the Reigate Archdeaconry Visitation Service.  As well as enabling you to fulfil this legal requirement to be signed in as Churchwarden, this service is an important opportunity to reflect together on the life of the Church, to pray together, give thanks and to share together in the joy of the Eucharist. The Visitation will take the form of a service of Eucharist, with a Sermon, and the declarations will be made within the service.  Whilst all Churchwardens are cited to attend, Sidespeople and PCC members would also be very welcome – and the service will include an act of commitment for those appointed and elected to service in these capacities for the coming year. It is a canonical requirement that Churchwardens are sworn in by 31 August 2024.

Date:  Tuesday 4 June 2024

Time: From 7.15pm, registration and refreshments and the service will commence at 8pm sharp.

Place: St Matthew’s, 71 Station Road, Redhill, RH1 1DL
