St Matthew’s church is a diverse, down-to-earth community of people who gather and are mainly fed by the presence of Christ in the word and sacrament of the Eucharist.  A commuter-belt, town-centred Parish church with a socially and culturally diverse population, we are seeking a priest who can:

  • build on our liberal catholic tradition
  • continue to develop our work with families, children and young people
  • support the outreach of St Matthew’s Foodbank
  • be involved with our Church School, including as a governor
  • sustain and grow our diverse inclusive church family
  • work with our local community partners
