Our Church is Grade II listed, built in 1859, and is in good order.
The Parish, Patron and Bishop are prayerfully seeking a priest, who has the vision, enthusiasm, and communication skills necessary to work collaboratively with the congregation and across the community and Diocese and will be:
- approachable and compassionate.
- who takes the sacraments seriously but not too formally, observing the present balance of contemporary and traditional forms of worship.
- willing to respect and listen to other people’s points of view.
- able to recognise what we have achieved and be enthusiastic to develop our Church further, encouraging us to try new things and help us develop and grow.
- able to lead us. We have wonderful volunteers at Christ Church. We would like leadership from someone who will draw out our talents and encourage us.
- with a sense of humour – that would be nice!
