KNIGHTS YOUTH CENTRE are recruiting for a Senior Youth Worker/Project Manager for our Unaccompanied Minors Integration Project, a Team Leader role to run our Seniors Club night as well as Sessional Workers roles on a number of other evenings.
Senior Youth Worker/Project Manager for Unaccompanied Minors Integration Project
Hours: 18 hours per week (0.51FTE)
Hourly rate: £17.00 per hour
Contract Period: Permanent subject to funding
When: Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons
The Senior Youth Worker will be responsible for the delivery of KYC’s targeted project work with Young People aged 14+, specifically working with existing Knights Senior members and unaccompanied minors (UM) and UM care leavers, being delivered in partnership with the Da’aro Youth Project and the South London Refugee Association (SLRA).
Working two evenings a week and Saturday afternoons, this will involve managing and delivering core aspects of service delivery – developing strong, professional relationships with young people and ensuring effective partnership working with statutory and voluntary sector agencies
Team Leader – Seniors
Hours: 5 hours per week (0.14 FTE)
Hourly Rate: £15.75 per hour
Contract Period: Permanent subject to funding
When: Thursday evenings
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Leader who will be responsible for the development and delivery of KYC’s service with young men and women as part of the Seniors Club (School years 11 plus) . Working one evening a week, this will involve managing and delivering core aspects of service delivery – developing strong, professional relationships with young people, and ensuring effective partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector agencies.
Sessional Workers
Hours: 3 hours per week (0.09 FTE)
Hourly Rate: Up to £13.00 per hour depending on experience
Contract Period: Permanent subject to funding
When: Either Monday, Wednesdays or Friday evenings
We are looking for enthusiastic Sessional Workers who will be responsible for participating in and supporting the development and delivery of KYC’s core evening service with young people. Working one, two or three evenings a week you will be involved in all aspects of our programmes, including developing strong, professional relationships with young people.
