The Richmond Team Ministry is a Church of England parish of three churches in Richmond, Surrey: St Mary Magdalene, St Matthias and St John the Divine, and a member of the Inclusive Church network. We share a liberal catholic theological tradition and are committed to exploring the reality of God faithfully and honestly.
We are seeking to appoint a Junior Church Leader who will:
- be a practising Christian with an understanding of the Anglican tradition, and supportive of the Inclusive Church vision;
- be part of a community in which children can thrive in their Christian lives;
- plan and lead Junior Church for children aged 4-11 on Sunday mornings;
- work creatively and imaginatively, enabling a sense of awe and wonder;
- be able to resource and encourage a support team of volunteer leaders;
- have a vision for incorporating children into the liturgical life of the church;
- be committed to working as part of a wider ministry team.
This is a part-time role, involving 8 hours of work per week, including Sunday mornings.
