Salary range £8,500 to £12,000 depending on participation level, skill etc.

Overview
At St. Peter’s we have fantastic singers in our youth and adult choirs.
We are looking for someone to build on the excellent musical base we have and continue our development:
– with passion for using music to worship and inspire;
– with the drive to build, grow and develop our children and youth choirs
– as well as to direct the choir, to play the organ and to help build a team; with assistant organist(s) and scholars to assist in playing and singing as needed
– to encourage congregational singing and participation
– to put safeguarding at the heart of their role
– with a good musical ear and attention to detail
– with confidence to make a mark and lead a group of passionate individuals/experienced singers
– with competence in a range of musical styles
– with a passion for outreach in a diverse area of London and working with young singers
– with desire and energy to continue the restoration of our superb and important four-manual William Hill organ
