The Archdeaconry of Wandsworth is a varied and vibrant part of the Kingston Episcopal Area in the Diocese of Southwark.  Comprising the Deaneries of Wandsworth, Tooting, Battersea, Kingston and Richmond & Barnes, the Archdeaconry includes a wide variety of opportunities for ministry and mission, and serves areas of substantial wealth and pressing poverty.

The successful candidate for this exciting post will be an experienced priest who knows and values the Church of England, with a commitment to mission, and the ability to relate to, and value the spectrum of Anglican tradition. An understanding of new patterns of ministry, the ability to inspire trust while thinking and leading strategically, and experience of managing change are crucial to the role.  Wisdom, resourcefulness, adaptability, a commitment to pastoral care and skills in working collaboratively are also vital in a Diocese that seeks to be Christ centred and outward focused.
