After the appointment of The Venerable Dr Rosemarie Mallett as Bishop Designate of Croydon, we are pleased to be able to offer tickets to the service of Consecration. This will take place at Southwark Cathedral on 24 June 2022 at 11am, where The Most Revd Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, will be joined by other bishops from the Southern Province to consecrate Rosemarie and formally welcome her as Bishop of Croydon. Tickets can be obtained from the Eventbrite link below. Attendance is free, but places are limited so we recommend signing up for tickets as soon as possible.

Once signed up, using the link, you will receive an email from Southwark Cathedral closer to the date providing more information about arrangements for the event. Anyone in the Diocese, or beyond, is welcome to come; however, we recommend signing up for tickets as soon as possible. Once the ticket limit has been reached, you will be added to a waiting list. If you have already signed up for a ticket to this service on Eventbrite, you do not need to do so again.

We look forward to welcoming as many people as possible to this joyful celebration of Rosemarie’s ministry and contribution to the Church, to mark this important moment for both her and the Diocese of Southwark.
