In this session SAGE will be looking at the importance of offering support to those who themselves care for elderly family members or friends (as distinct from those who are employed to help with caring tasks).
We will be led by Paul Crowther from the Christian Charity ‘Embracing Age’, which has considerable experience working alongside carers. What support might churches offer to those who themselves offer so much support to older people? The session will be interesting to those aware of needs in this area, those who aim to offer help, and those who themselves have experience of caring.
