What do you do when only one or two people show up to your social action ministry?

This month we are joined by Ellie Hughes – Community Pastor at St Paul’s, Kingston. She will be sharing about her experience of building relationships in the local community and about the importance of patience and resilience in the face of slow growth. Together we will explore the benefits of going deeper rather than wider.

This webinar is for anyone who is involved in or thinking about beginning a social action ministry or wider community engagement. You may feel that your ministry is growing slowly or simply want to prepare in case numbers stagnate or decline in the future. Please do join us if you think you have experience in this area or wisdom to offer. We’d love to hear from you!

This webinar is part of the Building Effective Social Action series.

How we build effective social action ministries that affirm the dignity and worth of all those we walk alongside?

Each month we take on a new topic, hearing from experienced practitioners and opening up a conversation amongst people across the diocese. Every webinar stands alone, so you’re free to attend the sessions most relevant to you, or come along to all of them.

All are welcome, whether you have years of experience in social action or are still in the planning stage.
