A short course of three evenings that takes Psalm 14:1 as its starting point.  This will equip us with a toolkit of concepts and insights to enable us to challenge atheism and materialism at the most fundamental level.  The key elements are: Science is a method, not a metaphysic.  You can’t prove that a proof works.  Fundamental particles are not the fundamental level of explanation.  Consciousness is not material.  Atheism is culturally specific.  Our shared moral intuitions are Christian.  If we can grasp these ideas firmly we will be better able to give an account of God as he reveals himself in Christ, to a world sorely in need of him.  The Revd Joshua Rey is the Vicar of Roehampton and teaches Christian Doctrine for St Augustine’s College. In making a booking, you are booking for all three evenings.
