The Croydon Youth Forum exists to provide a place where the voice of Christian young people (year 9+) in Anglican churches can be heard by senior leaders in Southwark Diocese.
We welcome up to three young people from each church (within the Croydon Episcopal Area only), along with a youth leader/worker to accompany them on the journey. To start with, everything will run via Zoom, but we look forward to a time where we can meet in person. Whether on Zoom or in person, we ask that a youth leader be present so that they can continue to make space for their young people to be included and heard in their own churches.
The main commitment involved is to three Zoom meetings per year in February, June and November, as a discussion and preparation for Synod meetings. We also hope (pandemic permitting) to be able to offer an annual BBQ and a residential for team building, skill developing, worship and fun!
If you have young people you feel would be interested in being part of the youth forum, please do invite them and have their parents complete this permission form.
