Board of Education

Together Southwark is a joint project between the Diocese of Southwark and the Church Urban Fund which aims to relieve poverty by developing projects within parishes. Kate Singleton is the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser (DSA) and Steve Short is the Assistant DSA. They are available for safeguarding advice and support. All churches in Southwark must follow the Diocesan safeguarding policies and procedures set out in A Safe Church. This relates to children, young people and vulnerable adults. There is a comprehensive programme of safeguarding training available. You may wish to contact the department to discuss specific requirements.
