Southwark Diocesan Head Teachers’ Association (SDHTA)

The SDHTA aims:

  • To provide spiritual, mutual and social support for headteachers, deputy headteachers and assistant headteachers of Church of England schools within the Diocese
  • To provide a forum for discussion of issues particularly relevant to Church of England schools.
  • To provide an effective two way channel of communication between the SDBE and the schools of the Diocese

There is an annual residential conference held in October, as well as Spring and Summer term meetings with the Director and Officers of the SDBE team.

The current Chair of the Association is Mr Andy Redman, Headteacher at Bishop John Robinson Primary School and Executive Headteacher at Christ Church Primary School, Greenwich.

The current constitution of the SDHTA details the aims, purpose and role of the association, as well as its links with the SDBE.

The SDHTA committee comprises:

  • Chair – Andy Redman (Greenwich)
  • Vice Chair – David Morgan (Croydon)
  • Secretary - Julia Corby (Wandsworth)
  • Treasurer – Claire Harrison (Greenwich)
  • Assistant Treasurer – Victoria Ellis (Greenwich)

AGM Agenda - The Annual General Meeting was held at the 2011 October Conference.
