Sage is a Southwark Diocesan Working Group, which has been invited by Bishop Christopher to explore and develop the spiritual, pastoral, ethical and missional aspects of the life of older people in the diocese.
The regular annual programme includes workshops as part of the ‘Deepening Discipleship’ and ‘Ministry Matters’ programmes and opportunities to share ideas, reflect theologically and shape appropriate responses both individually and as parishes. An email newsletter with information about events, resources and matters of interest on ageing and faith is sent out to anyone who wishes to join the circulation list.
Members of the working group are happy to offer advice, training, presentations on appropriate themes and ideas for resources across the diocese.
New material will be added to these pages as it is prepared; ideas for topics and themes for future development are always welcome.
