Property Repairs and PPM Coordinator

London Bridge
£35,000 to £38,000 per annum

 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced property professional to fill this newly created position within the Diocese of Southwark’s Property Services Department.

Based near London Bridge, our property services department looks after c.500 properties throughout south east London and Surrey, serving in particular the housing needs of clergy who are required to live close to the church in one of our properties.

Your main duties will include co-ordinating the provision of an effective repairs service to the properties that the Diocese is responsible for, including the monitoring of expenditure and the distribution of work to contractors.

You will oversee the planned preventative maintenance programmes for all properties owned and managed by the Diocese and you will also support the services provided by the property services department in its day to day operations, including the use of its databases and automated services.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a graduate level qualification (or have relevant equivalent experience); you will need to have outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships internally and externally.  

Your extensive experience in a property related role will be essential for this position, as well as being a confident and competent user of electronic information systems for inputting and extracting data for monitoring and reporting purposes.

Working in a small team, you will also be willing to have a flexible attitude to tasks and a cheerful positive approach to work.
